Shoebox Appeal For The Forces - 2009
This year, perhaps as never before, our thoughts and prayers have been with all servicemen and women and so we decided to join the 'Support Our Soldiers' appeal. An amazing 84 boxes were donated by members of the congregation and friends in the village and these are winging their way to the troops as we speak.
We wish them a safe and happy Christmas and hope that the small gifts will convey our support and good wishes. May God bless them all.
Below you can see 'the crew' packing and preparing the boxes for dispatch. We've included a slip with our web address so if any lads and lasses out there happen to be reading this , do drop us a line and say hi!
