swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the inn.

Dear Friends, as we come into the Advent season again one of the dangers is that because we have read and heard the story so many times, what is actually being said is no longer amazing for us.

A young girl lying in a stable gave birth to her first born son. I know there is a lot to be done at this time but please try to keep in your mind that we can individually say, 'God gave His son for me.

Could I on behalf of Maureen and myself thank you for your prayers and kindness in this last year, but especially in these last few weeks it has been a great comfort to us both to know that so many people have held us up in prayer.
