Bill's Message for Easter

A faith that has never been tested, looked at minutely will not sustain you in your time of need. A Roman spear made sure of that. Jesus died on the Cross yet three days after His crucifixion he showed himself to his friends and many other people. Many skeptics have held out for hard evidence and they have a right to do so.

For me the most compellng evidence is found in how the the disciples behaved when Mary told them Christ had risen.

But they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense.

Faith is not blind. It is only when you can look at the resurrection with your doubts and fears and come out the other side, to find the risen Christ, that you like the disciples will go forth and tell the Good News.

He is not here; He is risen.
